Jupiter, FL 2022
Bringing the Pageant of Hope to my new hometown was very important to me because I've always placed high importance on community involvement. I moved here just before the pandemic, so I never really got a chance to work with local nonprofits or foundations. There were so many moments of happy tears at the event. This was my first in-person pageant since Nashville in 2019, and you could just feel the energy and excitement. We had such a great turnout, thanks to various organizations, including Place of Hope, Special Olympics, Chasin’ a Dream, Quantum House, and more. It always reminds me of my "why" seeing the transformations these participants experience from start to finish. We teach and encourage them to realize their own inner beauty and self-confidence, all while giving them mini makeovers, walk, pose, and interview training to make them feel beautiful on the outside as well. At the end of the day, after every participant has been awarded their unique title and given a crown, they just light up! We look forward to making next year an even bigger success, crowning and empowering even more kids and teens.
